Is this a real football helmet?
No. It is a bird feeder shaped like a football helmet: a ScoreShell™ cover that fits over the ScoreFeeders™ feeder base, which holds the seed and the tray.
Can I change the design?
Yes. ScoreShells™ are designed to fit ScoreFeeders™ bases, so you can swap the football helmet for Jack the jack-o’-lantern, The Eagle golf ball or future designs in seconds.
Will there be my team’s helmet?
University helmet feeders are being developed as licensing approvals are completed. Fans choose the order in the ScoreFeeders™ SeedBowl vote at scorefeeders.com.
How do I refill it?
Lift the cover, slide out the seed tray, fill it and slide it back. The ScoreShell™ stays in place.
What seed should I use?
We recommend black oil sunflower. It’s widely considered to attract the greatest variety of backyard birds.
