Stars and Stripes
A printed and hand-finished football helmet inspired ScoreShell™, on the pole, with a bird helping itself.
Real, not AI
Every product in every photo and video on this site is something we made, held in our hands and photographed ourselves.
Everything on this website is real, not AI. All the products in all the photos and videos are physical, 3D printed prototypes, finished by hand in our development lab. All the photos and videos containing birds are real, and filmed on our own feeders. We realize some of the footage is a little rough in places — that is because we shot it ourselves, on an iPhone, and not because it is AI!
Every ScoreShell™ you see is a physical part, 3D printed in our own development lab and finished by hand. Hundreds of concepts and dozens of prototypes came before the ones in these pictures. None of them is a rendering, and none of them is a mock-up of a product that does not exist yet.
Wild birds, our own yard, our own feeders. Nobody is a stock photograph and nobody was dropped into a frame afterwards. If a bird looks like it is ignoring the camera, it is because it was.
An iPhone, held by one of us, usually through a window so as not to scare anything off. No studio, no lighting rig, no retouching. That is why the focus wanders in places and why a branch is sometimes in the way.
It is now easy to launch a product page full of images of something nobody has ever built. We would rather show you a slightly rough video of a real feeder with a real bird on it than a perfect picture of a thing that does not exist. When something here looks imperfect, that is the reason.

Jack off, Eagle on, same bird feeder base, one take. Real hands, real parts — sped up 3×, nothing cut.
Seed going in while the ScoreShell stays on its hook. One take, sped up 2×. Some of it missed. We left that in.
The jack-o’-lantern bird feeder shell. Printed, finished by hand, then hung outside and filmed.
Three different bird feeder shells on one bird feeder base, in the yard in Marlborough, on an ordinary afternoon.
The solar tray after dark, photographed in the yard at night.
A golf ball, dimples and all, printed and finished in the lab.
Iris and Lola, squirrel patrol. For a long stretch of the early prototypes they were the only squirrel deterrent the product had.
